Up Your Lash & Brow Game with Plume Science!

Happy Friday!

Let's talk lashes and brows (well, mostly brows) today. Truth be told, I'm lacking in both departments - my lashes are fine and sparse, and so are my brows, with extra sparseness at the ends. I'm a lover of mascara because they build up length and volume for my lashes, but they are such a hassle to take off completely at the end of the day. I come out of the shower looking like a raccoon - anyone with me? As for brows, I used to get them threaded regularly (because hair grows around my brows), but that was when the "thin brows" trend was in. Now, fuller and more natural-looking brows are the way to go, so I've been tweezing the bare minimum, and can't go a day (if I'm going out) without filling in the ends of my brows, at the very least

And lately, I feel like my lashes and brow hair have been shedding more frequently than usual (because shedding is normal). So when I was introduced to Plume Science's Lash & Brow Enhancing Serum, I was all in. I've been using this product for about two weeks now, and I must admit that I definitely see a difference (and I usually think these things are a gimmick). The hairs of my lashes and brows feel stronger, I've been noticing less fall-out of the hairs, and they appear darker (my hair is black) which means they're fuller! It's an extra step in my skincare routine, but it's well worth it.

When it comes to filling in my brows with makeup, I use an eyebrow pencil most of the time. After years and years, I'm still no master at filling in my brows to the point of satisfaction, but there's always a point where you stop because "they're good enough to get through the day" - I'm not alone on this, right? I recently tried Plume Science's Nourish & Define Brow Pomade in the shade Chestnut Decadence, and it's been a learning process. It's not my first time working with a brow pomade, but it's definitely one of the better experiences. I find that since I have a heavy hand when applying any brow product, I tend to go for a much lighter shade. I love that this product comes with the brush and spooley combo (which is usually sold separately). When using this pomade, a little goes a long way, and it has a natural finish. I love the creamy texture, and how it's formulated with antioxidants and nutrients for the brow hair - it's like skincare and makeup in one product! I haven't totally quit my brow pencils, but if you have extra time to spare in the mornings for your brows, you should check out and play around with this product!

Hope this helped with your lash and brow game!
